Midleton
The County Cork home of the New Midleton Distillery — producer of Jameson, Powers, Redbreast, Green Spot, and most major Irish whiskeys.

Midleton, in County Cork, southern Ireland, is the home of the New Midleton Distillery, opened in 1975 next to the historic Old Midleton Distillery (now the Jameson Experience visitor centre). The site is owned by Irish Distillers (Pernod Ricard) and produces the great majority of major Irish whiskey brands including Jameson, Powers, Paddy, Redbreast, Green Spot, Yellow Spot, Midleton Very Rare, and Method and Madness. New Midleton operates separate pot still and column still infrastructure on a single industrial site, producing every Irish whiskey style (single malt, single pot still, single grain, blended) from one location.

New Midleton as the Production Engine of Irish Whiskey
New Midleton (1975) consolidated the operations of John Jameson, John Powers, and Cork Distillers Company into a single industrial site after their 1966 merger as Irish Distillers. The plant produces every Irish whiskey style — single malt, single pot still, single grain, blended — from a single complex of stills. Brands include Jameson (the largest-selling Irish whiskey worldwide), Powers, Redbreast (single pot still), and the Spot range.
