By using Funfactorium you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short and plain.

What this site is

Funfactorium publishes editorially curated, fact-checked guides on topics we follow closely — starting with houseplants and expanding into other subjects. Content is written and reviewed by the Funfactorium Editorial team and assisted by software tools (including AI) under human oversight.

Use at your own risk

Care guides are educational content, not professional advice. Individual plants (and other subjects we cover) vary by environment, age, species, and source. Before acting on any guide:

  • Verify scientific names match your specific plant or item
  • Check the cited sources at the bottom of each guide
  • Consult a qualified specialist (horticulturist, veterinarian, etc.) for sensitive cases

We do our best to keep content accurate but make no guarantees about completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for damages arising from following guide content.

Source citations

We link upstream sources at the bottom of each guide. Those sources retain their own copyright; we cite under fair-use / fair-dealing standards.

Advertising disclosure

Funfactorium displays advertising via Google AdSense (when active). Ads are served by Google and labeled as "Sponsored" or similar. We do not personally endorse advertised products. Affiliate links, if any, will be disclosed inline within the relevant article.

Acceptable use

Don't:

  • Scrape or mass-download the site
  • Attempt to bypass Cloudflare protections
  • Use content to train commercial AI models without permission
  • Republish full articles without consent

Third-party services

The site relies on:

  • Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, DDoS protection)
  • Google AdSense (advertising, when live)
  • Google Analytics 4 (optional, opt-in disclosure when active)
  • Wikimedia Commons (image hosting)

Each has its own terms; using Funfactorium implies acceptance of those services where they apply.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will update the "Effective date" and be linked from the homepage for at least 14 days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea (operator's jurisdiction), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For users outside Korea, mandatory consumer protections of your jurisdiction continue to apply.
